Hello, I hope you have had the chance to watch a video I posted a awhile back about a dog rescue trip to South Carolina. I came along with Donna Scardelli, founder of Pittter Patter Puppy House a non for profit dog rescue organization located in Lyndhurst, NJ. It was of the most heartfelt experiences I have ever had in my life. It was so sad to see all those beautiful dogs staying at at high kill shelter facility in South Carolina. If I could, I would have brought all of them home with me. You can watch the dog rescue trip video here.
We brought back to New Jersey a total of 24 dogs and puppies, among them was Juno and her adorable little puppies. We are not exactly sure why Juno and her puppies were surrendered to the shelter by their owners.
Juno was such a sweet dog and I fell in love with her right away. Her puppies were the cutesiest, and she was so careful of them the whole time. Such a good mommy! I knew it would not take too long for them to find someone to take them home, love them, and care for them. I was right! As soon as the puppies come to age they were adopted, and Juno has also found her forever home.
Their story have a happy ending, but many other dogs and puppies stories don’t. What can you do to help? Support a local shelter or dog rescue groups, donate, foster, volunteer, adopt. You can make a difference!
So these adorable puppies are not longer available for adoption, but If you are interested in adopting a puppy or a dog, there are many others looking for a loving home. Please contact Donna Scardelli at 201-618-9209 or visit http://www.pitpatpup.org/ to find a four legged best friend.
All you need is love…and a dog!
